FLEX Route Changes

On December 29, the City of Loveland Transit (COLT) will launch a new Loveland - Fort Collins route replacing Transfort’s current FLEX F1.

The new COLT service, called LINC, will connect the Loveland North Transit Center and Transfort's South Transit Center (STC) in Fort Collins, with the same stops as the current FLEX F1.

Fares for the new COLT LINC route will be:

  • $1.25 for a one-way trip
  • $0.60 for seniors/individuals with disabilities
  • Free for CSU students with a RamCard and youth

COLT is expected to share route maps and timetables with the public soon.

Transfort's FLEX to Longmont and FLEX to Boulder service will be consolidated into one single FLEX route from STC in Fort Collins to 18th & Euclid in Boulder. The route will stop in Loveland, Berthoud and Longmont. There will be seven (7) trips each weekday and five (5) trips on Saturdays. The Downtown Transit Center (DTC) in Fort Collins will not be serviced by FLEX.

ADA Upgrades

Transfort completed several important ADA-focused upgrades to make riding safer and more accessible for everyone.

After hearing from riders who are blind or have low vision that the stop announcements were hard to use, we updated our system. Now every stop is announced on the bus, and the exterior speakers clearly say which bus is arriving.

We also introduced standardized ADA signage in both English and Spanish on the buses.

These improvements are already making a meaningful difference for riders who rely on accessible features to navigate our system with confidence.
