Access Fort Collins Has a New Home!

The City's Access Fort Collins tool has moved to a new platform. It's still the fastest, easiest way to contact the City for questions, comments and service requests — but with a new design and enhanced user experience. User accounts will not transfer between platforms, so you'll need to set up a new one the first time you log in. If you're using the mobile app, be sure to download the new version, too!

Want To Know About Mosquito Spraying?

Text FCWNV to 888-777 to opt in, or sign up at NoCoAlert.org for email notifications.

Fort Collins does not spray for nuisance mosquitoes or on a pre-determined schedule. Instead, spraying takes place at the recommendation of the county when certain West Nile infection thresholds are crossed. If and when that happens, the City of Fort Collins sends notifications to people who have opted in to receive them.

Fort Collins Floods: It's Not if, but When

Don't be fooled by our dry climate. Heavy storms cause flooding. Fort Collins has an extensive flood history. It’s not a matter of if flooding will happen – it’s a matter of when.

Water you waiting for? Sign up for flood alerts and stay informed.

Sign up for NoCo Alert emergency notifications. During a flood, tune in to local TV or radio stations – don’t call 911 for information. The best weather information is from the National Weather Service’s website or weather radio. Fort Collins Utilities also provides emergency information on FCTV, online and through social media.

Know the Difference

  • Watch: Severe weather is possible – be alert and prepared.
  • Warning: Severe weather has been reported or is imminent – take immediate precautions.

View Real-Time Rainfall and Streamflow

Our early flood warning system includes numerous streamflow and precipitation gauges. When rain intensity or stream level thresholds are exceeded, employees from Utilities and the City’s Office of Emergency Preparedness are notified, providing greater lead time to respond to flooding. View real-time data.

Remember:

  • Turn Around Don’t Drown®
  • Be Red Cross Ready: Get a kit. Make a plan. Be informed.
  • Play it safe on the Poudre River.
