Celebrate The Farm's 40th Anniversary!

The Farm at Lee Martinez Park has been a Fort Collins staple for the last 40 years, providing both fun and educational opportunities to the community. It's a pretty pig deal, if you know what we mean.

Join us for a special day at The Farm, featuring food trucks, fun farm games, live music, visiting the animals and line dancing! Enjoy free admission all day from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., with special programming and activities from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Skate on by EPIC

Looking for a way to get your ice skating fix this fall and winter? Swing by Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) and take advantage of our drop-in ice skating programs. Whether you're a seasoned figure skater or ice skating is just a casual hobby, EPIC has something for you. 

EPIC offers several drop-in skating programs:

  • Public Skating: Open skating for skaters of all abilities. Admission is $6 for youth, $7 for adults, and $6 for seniors; Skate rental is $3.
  • Fitness Skate: Designed for skaters to benefit from aerobic exercise. Ages 16 & older.   
  • Stick & Puck: Open session for working on hockey skills. Hockey equipment required, pucks not provided, games & drills not allowed. Sign up online starting at 7 a.m. the day of.         
  • Hockey: Pick-up hockey game. Hockey equipment required. Ages 16 & older. Sign up online starting at 7 a.m. the day of.
  • Open Freestyle: Figure skating session for those level Basic 4 Skate and above who are approved by their coach or the Ice Coordinator. All Figure Skating Disciplines welcome. Advanced Freestyle: Bronze level and above.
    • Please note: Open Freestyle is for those with figure skating experience only. If you are looking to skate for fun, stop by during our Public Skating hours.
  • 50+ Leisure Skate: Slower-paced Public Skate for those 50 years and older.

Attend the Paralympic Program & Equipment Expo

Spend an evening testing out adaptive equipment and participating in Paralympic sports! Experience a GRIT Freedom Chair (for hiking), adaptive cycles (including handcycles), Wheelchair Rugby, Paralympic Boccia, Wheelchair Tennis, Adaptive Skiing, Wheelchair Racing, Wheelchair Lacrosse, Cardio Boxing, Drumming, Adaptive Pickleball and Paralympic Fencing.

ARO will debut brand-new adaptive sports equipment made possible by a $25,000 grant from The Hartford.

Southeast Community Center Updates

Exciting progress is being made in the planning and design of the new Southeast Community Center, which will be located on land adjacent to Fossil Ridge High School. Initial design concepts have been developed and submitted to the City for review, and geothermal testing has been completed on the site.

About the Southeast Community Center
The community center, which was promised to voters in 2015 as part of the approved Community Capital Improvement Program, will feature multi-use spaces for recreation, fitness, creativity, innovation, intergenerational programs, a state-of-the-art public library, and both indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities. The community center is being planned by community partners including the City of Fort Collins, Poudre Libraries and Poudre School District.

Puppy Training
Wednesdays | 9/3-10/22 | 7-8 p.m. | $150

Front Range Natural Pet
Designed for pups 4-6 months of age. Training covers puppy-level obedience (sit, down, come and walking on a leash), strategies for eliminating common behavior problems (biting a toy rather than nipping you), calmness around resources like chew toys and treats, confidence with distractions like noises and walking on strange surfaces.
*Additional sessions are offered October-February.

Painting Pieces - Bird
Saturday, Sept. 13 | 2-4 p.m.
Fort Collins Senior Center
Perfect for artists of all skill levels, this interactive, collaborative experience combines the joy of painting with the challenge of puzzle solving. Each participant will use vibrant acrylic paints to design their own unique piece of a larger mini mural. Then, the group will come together to assemble the painted pieces and reveal the full masterpiece—one colorful connection at a time.
*Sessions are offered monthly from September-January.

Beginning Rock Climbing

Designed for the new climber looking to try a locally based new and exciting outdoor experience. Learn basic techniques and gain climbing experience with a professional instructor. All gear provided.

Twin Silo Playground Closure

Playground closed Sept. 8-15

The playground at Twin Silo Community Park will be closed for maintenance starting Monday, Sept. 8 through Monday, Sept. 15. We encourage you to visit one of our other wonderful park playgrounds during this time.
