Community Survey Results are in!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views. While most Fort Collins respondents rated their quality of life as very good or good, they reported housing affordability continues to be a concern. Just 1 in 10 respondents positively rated Fort Collins in terms of availability of affordable quality housing. Clearly, there is more work to do to achieve Fort Collins’ vision that everyone has healthy stable housing they can afford.

NoCo Housing Now Summit - September 19

It’s all about supply! The cost of housing across our region continues to climb faster than incomes. Product variety is declining while entry-level price points even challenge high-earners. Housing has become a drag on the economic health of our region.  On Friday, September 19, from 8:30-noon at the Embassy Suites in Loveland, this summit will discuss:

  • How water supply and its cost will define "where, what and how much" for expanding our housing supply.
  • How Proposition 123 provides both capital and strong incentives for municipalities to open more doors.
  • What else is working to keep our region moving forward.
