Our annual Veterans Day Breakfast is a special event with attendance of around 150 veterans and their families. On November 11th from 7:00 to 10:00 am at the Senior Center, volunteers will be interacting with the guests, helping with setup and cleanup and helping to celebrate the day. 

Please wear close toed shoes. Dress is something patriotic or comfortable casual. The greeting position requires standing at length . Free breakfast provided to volunteers following volunteer shift or at break.

Specific instructions for each position will be sent to volunteers approximately 1 week before event.

Boards and Commissions Open House is taking place on Monday November 17th beginning at 5pm at City Hall (300 LaPorte Avenue).
Come learn about volunteering on one of the City's 22 boards and commissions and getting involved in local government!

Join the City of Fort Collins as a volunteer and play a key role in supporting both our TransFort and IT teams! This is a hands-on opportunity to dive into the world of technology and public service, where you’ll assist with preventative maintenance on vital equipment and help keep our systems running smoothly. Volunteers will also contribute to asset management efforts—ensuring our technology inventory is tracked, organized, and ready to serve the community. This position is perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, wants to learn more about IT operations, and enjoys making a tangible difference in how our city delivers services every day.
