Andy has ties to Fort Collins—he was part of the founding team of The Music District, where he helped develop its early strategy and hire its first team.
He currently serves as the Founding Executive Director of the ESHIP Alliance, a national network advancing the emerging profession of entrepreneurial ecosystem building. He previously served as a Senior Program Officer at the Kauffman Foundation, where he managed a $25 million portfolio to strengthen America’s entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Andy’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. His collaborations include projects with AOL Founder Steve Case, Microsoft Co-Founder Paul Allen, and former Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh. A sought-after speaker, he has taken the stage at SXSW, TEDx, and more than 100 universities across the country.
