Transfort bus service will be operating on Monday, Jan. 19, but Transit Center lobbies and Customer Support offices will be closed.

Optimization Plan Updates

As we head into the new year, here are a few updates from the Transfort Optimization Plan project team:

After months of review and community engagement on the three proposed scenarios, combined with data analysis and transit industry best practices, a recommended transit system was developed. The recommended transit system was presented to City Council in October and received support.

View the presentation under the Documents section on the Optimization Plan website and next steps.

Two upcoming events will focus on sharing the recommended scenario – giving you an opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts.

The Transportation Projects Fair is back!

Mark your calendars for Friday, February 6 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Center for Creativity (200 Mathews St.).

This open house-style event gives attendees a chance to browse a variety of short and long term projects planned throughout the city and talk with City staff and regional partners.
