Water Status Update

Starting May 1, Fort Collins Utilities water customers are in a Water Shortage Watch.

By voluntarily reducing your use, you can actively help lower the chance of mandatory restrictions if conditions get worse.

Make a Difference:

  • Limit lawn watering to two days a week.
  • Don’t water between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Take shorter showers and run only full loads of laundry and dishes.
  • Participate in our programs and rebates at FortCollins.gov/SaveWater.

Construction Impacts This Month

This month, the biggest traffic impacts are in Southeast Fort Collins on Trilby, Lemay and Harmony:

    • Lane shifts and directional closures continue on Lemay between Horsetooth and Harmony for water line replacements.
    • Trilby remains closed between Lemay and Timberline for a bridge replacement.
    • Trilby remains closed at College, though southbound travelers can now turn right onto Trilby and eastbound travelers can turn right onto College.
    • Lane shifts continue on Harmony between Lemay and Timberline for work on the Power Trail Underpass project beneath Harmony.
