We are excited to share information about a new grant opportunity for owners of rental properties.

The City of Fort Collins is providing $550 to select housing providers to purchase Energy Star rated washing machines to improve water efficiency in rental properties.

Apply now through May 18, 2026 to be considered for this exciting opportunity to help conserve water in our community and assist your tenants in saving money on their utility bills. If you are selected to receive the grant, you will be responsible for purchasing the washing machine, installing the washing machine, and submitting receipts/documentation to the City of Fort Collins for reimbursement.

Machines must be purchased and documentation submitted by August 31, 2026. Funding for this project is provided by Fort Collins Utilities. Your rental property must have water service through Fort Collins Utilities to receive funding.
