Bike Fix-it Bonanza this weekend

Is a minor bike issue keeping you from riding? The Bike Fix-it Bonanza is a free, drop-in event where our team will check your bike and take care of minor repairs so you can get back on the road.

No appointment is needed. Services are first-come, first-served and may include flat tire repair, brake and gear adjustments, minor mechanical fixes and safety checks.

Staff will also be on hand to answer questions and share resources about biking in Fort Collins, including how Shift Your Ride can help you make biking part of your daily routine.

Join us 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the Walk and Wheel Skills Hub, 1600 W. Drake Rd.

Have your say on Shields Street

The City is looking for your input on Shields Street between Stuart Street and Lake Street. This corridor is used by people who walk, bike and drive every day, and planned improvements aim to make it safer and more comfortable for everyone.

Proposed changes include wide shared-use paths and redesigned intersections that better support people moving through the area on foot, by bike or by vehicle. Your feedback will help shape how these improvements are designed and prioritized.

We want to hear from you.

City seeks Bike to Work Day station hosts

Help make Fort Collins’ 38th Annual Summer Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 24 the biggest yet by hosting a station along the route.

We’re already up to over 100 stations and counting, and we’re looking for businesses and organizations to help expand support across the city. When choosing a location, consider areas with fewer nearby stations to help create a more connected experience for riders.

Morning stations run from 6:30–9:30 a.m. and afternoon stations from 4–6 p.m. Station host registration closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 5. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up!

New electric mobility website

Electric mobility has become increasingly popular as more people find these vehicles to be effective in reducing car trips and reach farther destinations. The City’s Electric Mobility webpage provides valuable resources for understanding City policy around electric mobility, vehicle classification and where it can be legally operated.
