Used car seats that are expired, damaged, recalled, or unusable should be thrown away in the trash, or dropped off for disposal at the drop off locations listed below. 

Car seats have a limited lifespan and should be taken out of use if they are expired, recalled, or have been in a significant crash. Please keep them out of garage sales, thrift stores, and the recycling bin. They are not an item that can be reused or recycled.
