Notes

Flora of North America recognizes three subspecies of S. flagellaris, found all over the world. Subspecies setigera is native to Alaska, British Columbia, Asia, and the Atlantic Islands. Subspecies platysepala is native to Greenland, Canada, Alaska, and the Atlantic Islands. Our Colorado native, subspecies crandallii can be found throughout the alpine areas of the Rocky Mountain states.


Great for rock gardens.
