Notes

Tough on almost any site. Can have aesthetic pest problems with nipple gall and eriophyid mites causing witch’s broom. In Fort Collins it can take a significant amount of squirrel damage. Has the unique characteristic of being able to go dormant during the summer when stressed leading people to believe it has died.
