Notes

Flora of North America recognizes two subspecies of C. arvense in North America, the Plant List Version 1.1 recognizes six from around the world. This is the only subspecies that is native to the U.S. It is a common wildflower in the western and central parts of Colorado. This species can be a little weedy.
