One of the toughest and most adapted shade trees to our climate. little rangy in youth but matures into an excellent dappled shade tree. Not picky about soil or exposed sites. No serious disease problems. Salt tolerant and does not produce fruit.
It is unclear if this cultivar meets the City of Fort Collins definition of a “native selection”. Gymnocladus dioicus is native to most of the eastern half of the U.S.
