Notes

Flora of Colorado recognizes five subspecies of I. aggregata that occur in and are native to Colorado. They vary slightly in appearance with differences in flower coloration and shape. Subspecies aggregata, attenuata and tenuituba occur on both the east and west slope of Colorado and subspecies collina and candida are only found on the east slope. This species is found primarily in the north central and west central counties of Colorado.
